Cookie notice

Last updated 6 Nov 2026

Cookies and browser storage are small pieces of information a website keeps in your browser. Clear Senior Living (“Clear”, “we”) uses them only for what the site needs to work and to remember what you chose.

The short version

  • No analytics, no advertising cookies, no tracking across other sites.
  • Most of what we store stays in your browser and is not sent to us unless you sign in.
  • That is why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to turn on or off.

1. What we store

Cookies

WhatWhy and for how long

Sign-in cookie, set only when you sign in
Keeps you signed in. Lasts 60 days from your last visit, or until you sign out

Browser storage

WhatWhy and for how long

Saved communities
So your list is there next time. Until you remove them or clear browser storage
Seniors you added, with their care needs
To show which communities fit. Until you remove them or clear browser storage
Places you added, places you typed recently, and drive times worked out for them
To show drive times without asking again. Until you remove them or clear browser storage
The area you last searched
To start your next search there. Until you clear browser storage
The name and phone number you last typed in a request
So you don’t have to type them again. Until you clear browser storage
Your last search
For the “Back to results” link on a community page. Gone when you close the tab
Which account this browser keeps in step with, when you are signed in
To keep your lists the same on every device. Removed when you sign out

The map may also keep map images in your browser’s cache so it loads faster. If you sign in, your saved communities, seniors and places are also kept with your account, as described in the Privacy notice.

2. What we don’t use

  • No analytics or usage statistics, and no session recording.
  • No advertising cookies, and no pixels from social networks or ad companies.
  • Nothing that follows you across other websites.

If we add usage statistics, we will update this notice and the privacy notice first, and show a short notice on your next visit with a way to turn them off.

3. Other services on our pages

Some parts of a page load directly from other services, which see your IP address the way any website does: map images (OpenFreeMap) and community photos (the community’s own website or Google). When you ask for a sign-in code, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that you are a person; it runs in a frame from Cloudflare and may use its own storage there to do so. Cloudflare says it does not use this for advertising.

4. Your choices

  • Remove saved communities, seniors and places on the site at any time.
  • When you sign out, choose “Also clear seniors, saved communities and places from this browser”. Do this on a shared computer.
  • Block or delete cookies and site data in your browser’s settings. You can still search and read everything, but the site can’t remember what you save, and you can’t sign in.
  • Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends it, we treat it as a request to opt out of sale and sharing. We do neither, so the site works the same.

5. Changes and contact

We will post changes here and change the date at the top. Questions: privacy@clearseniorliving.com. Anything else: hello@clearseniorliving.com. See also the Privacy notice and Terms of use.
