What’s included, and common cost questions
What does the monthly price include? Usually rent, three meals, housekeeping and activities. Care is often priced separately by level of help.
Do prices go up? Most communities raise prices once a year. Ask how much the last increase was and how much notice they give.
Can Medi-Cal pay? Some assisted living communities take the Assisted Living Waiver. Ask The Stratford whether they do and if there’s a waiting list.

Type B: problems that could become a risk without correction, or record-keeping problems that affect care. Both must be corrected. We have held a few of our Auxiliary meetings at The Stratford this year. Beautiful facility, and we were warmly welcomed by all staff. They were kind enough to provide us with indoor and outdoor spaces for our meetings, and included a table full of fresh fruit and pastries, plus coffee and tea. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. I look forward to more occasions at The Stratford in…
