My Mother-in-law was there for about 7 years She was very well cared for We visited there every week and found nothing wrong with the staff, in fact they were very caring and mindful of our opinions and when she passed, they treated her with dignity.

The facility's appearance is misleading. While the lobby is nice, the rest of the building is in poor condition and an oder that overpowers the building. The primary issues include a lack of sanitation (soiled carpets that need to be replaced), rude management, and a lack of essential supplies for patients. My husband and I have toured 10 facilities since July because we need to place my sister in-law in a Memory Care facility. It is important to see where your loved one will be placed. My mom was a resident of Montclair Royale for almost two years. Annamarie and her staff are amazing. They took such great care of my mom. The staff on the memory care floor are so kind and caring. They build relationships with residents and family. I'm so grateful for all they do for residents and family.

My mother has been a resident of this facility for about 5 years now. They went through a change of management last year. From that point on, they've been great.
