My mother has been at Westmont Carmel Valley for almost 2 years. She is needing more and more care as she is becoming less able to fend for herself and this is where the incredible staff in memory Care are so unbelievably fantastic. Unfortunately the staff come and go but La Tasha and Rayvin have been there since my mother arrived and they go above and beyond what is required of them. They are…

I recently posted my thoughts on the very special residents’ activities director of Compass Rose (memory care division), Maggie. I’d like to also recognize the wonderful caregiver, Kim in Compass Rose! She always shows such thoughtfulness, kindness and compassion towards the residents. She gets a huge gold star in my book!

Nice looking facility with good views and almost everyone is friendly. But now that my parents have lived there for a little while, there are some significant issues. The food often comes out cold and the service is slow. They acknowledge the problems, but don’t fix them. There are two restrooms on the first floor, but they won’t install automatic openers on them so the many residents on walkers…

My childhood friend’s mother has been a resident in the memory care section, Compass Rose, in Westmont for almost two years. The staff and care givers are wonderful and I wanted to add a special shout out to Maggie, the Activities Director for Compass Rose. She’s always on top of the residents’ needs and goes over and above to ensure they are engaged in the many thoughtful and creative…

My mother has been living in the Memory Care facility for almost 18 months now. The staff are phenomenal. Very caring and kind and patient. But best of all is the activity director Maggie. She is amazing! She keeps the tenants active and engaged and happy and involved all the time. She is so upbeat and energetic and they all benefit from her encouragement and her supervision of the daily…
