Throughout his stay, it often felt like the nursing staff and CNAs were inattentive, primarily checking on patients only during meals, medication times, or scheduled showers. Absolutely horrific. The level of incompetence across the board is astounding. The kitchen staff does not know what a diabetic diet is, the admissions staff took 8 hours to admit the patient (it was midnight, I left, maybe it took longer) In the meantime, a diabetic needs their meds.
