My father has been at Shields skilled nursing for 2 months now. We were referred from Kaiser hospital and apprehensive given the mixed reviews. However, its been such an underrated gem and we’ve been very pleased with the experience overall. Cons- There's no question the facility is run down and it's not the greatest neighborhood to visit regularly. The PT/OT is somewhat limited to just putting…

I want to let all of the staff know how appreciate I was for your kindness and hospitality!! After being there on the side of my father’s bed for 4 hours I was relieved knowing that he is in good hands. And the place is very clean 🙏🙏🙏 Thank you very much for taking good care of him for us 🥰

To start, the facility is very clean. I witnessed a worker clean a rolling cart from top to bottom - he literally cleaned the wheels. Most importantly, the staff here is lovely. Practically every person we encountered was…

I am currently a resident and will be for the next fee weeks. So the building is a little beat up, but clean . The food is nasty, I'm not going to lie. The reason I give them 4 stars is the staff. Everyone I have encountered is attentative and caring and full of personality. All staff including laundry, activities, housekeeping, physical therapy and nursing staff. I can be a little much, and…

I recently went to here to visit my neighbor. I was really surprised when I walked in. The lady at the front desk was really pleasant. This facility had no stinky odor. It had a nice clean smell. The place and rooms were clean. Great Job Staff. A++++
