Clearly one of the best retirement communities in the area, our mother lives there and loves it. Naturally this comes at a high price but she's certainly earned it and with what we put her through as children im happy that there is a place nearby she is willing to stay in that allows me in to see her when I can.

my mom has been living at Channing House for about 15 years. I love this place. it is very clean. everyone who works here is very nice and helpful. the food is good. the apartments have several floor plans to choose from. you can't move in till you're 65 but must be here by 73. there are all kinds of programs here: exercise, poetry, movies, lectures, music... the residents stay very active doing…
