My mother was admitted to Milpitas Care Center about three years ago following a stay in a nearby ICU. Her doctor prescribed a skilled nursing facility to provide physical therapy, cardiac-sensitive dietary management, and assistance with her daily care needs. During that time, my mother ultimately requested to remain there in long-term care. This transition was a major change for both of us…
May 2026 · GoogleTerrible nursing home. They kept saying that it’s a skilled nursing facility. But it has long-term care for as well, therefore it is still considered a nursing home. 3 Elders would share 1 room with 1 toilet / bathroom here. It smells at this nursing home. Social worker who works here is unlicensed since California Law would require social workers to have a licensed social worker if the facility…
Jul 2025 · GoogleWe had a very positive experience at Milpitas Care Center when my parent checked in for respite care. They took extra care in learning her routine and needs. We were able to rest assure that they were in very caring hands. They had very open communication and kept us updated. I would recommend them to any of my friends. The staff was delightful and my parent felt safe.
May 2025 · GoogleMy mom spent a week of hospice at the Milpitas Care Center. The whole staff was very accommodating to mom and to the special care needed for her physical and mental health. My mom felt safe and cared for during her stay, even during her times of confusion. The staff was able to get mom to participate in some of the activities they offered. A relative who stopped in to visit, sent me a photo…
Apr 2025 · GoogleMy mom stays there. The place is clean. I like the staff. They have bingo days and other activities for the elders. My mom didn't get skinny living there. That's a good thing :)
