I found out tonight that a tall, skinny black nurse with an Afro told my 83 yr old father that is currently in Madera Rehabilitation and Nursing that my brother "no longer wants to care for him and wants nothing to do with him ". This place is awful, the patients are left for hours with the call light on, waiting to be changed,showered, or even fed. Makes me sad that the staff could care less about these patients welfare

My mom was here till she passed away many years ago.Im very grateful to the staff that took care of her. Today my brother's father inlaw is living there cause he needs 24 hour care. He is almost 90yrs old. I must say that the staff is very compassionate and good to him.
