What’s included, and common cost questions
What does the monthly price include? Usually rent, three meals, housekeeping and activities. Care is often priced separately by level of help.
Do prices go up? Most communities raise prices once a year. Ask how much the last increase was and how much notice they give.
Can Medi-Cal pay? Some assisted living communities take the Assisted Living Waiver. Ask Glen Park whether they do and if there’s a waiting list.

Rating & safety How to read thisThese are the state’s own categories. Type A: problems that, if not corrected, put residents’ health, safety or rights at direct and immediate risk. Type B: problems that could become a risk without correction, or record-keeping problems that affect care. Both must be corrected. Complaints the state didn’t confirm are shown but never counted against the community.

As I was searching for places my mother-in-law would thrive in or at least be safe in a memory care department. I was my mother-in-laws sole caregiver and I was…

When I last visited my loved one the staff was very kind to me and others. The place was clean and cheerful. Its not always easy to care for
a senior who may be a little confused or unable to care about the rules and especially during the last 2 years.(ie sterile policy)
These people are doing Gods work
