This is an excellent skilled nursing facility that I would not hesitate to recommend. The staff is extremely caring, friendly, and considerate to each patient. The physical therapy is carefully and expertly tailored to the needs of each patient. They truly go above and beyond what might be asked for.

The residents look forward to all the different activities, entertainment, & special events. They do 1:1 visits, in-room activities, group bingo/loteria, and ice cream socials. Holidays are so special for the patients and families at La Mesa Healthcare.

Unfortunately, my father was sent to this place for rehab. La Mesa neglects their patients by leaving them soiled for the WHOLE day! Having them lay on the bed the whole day. The interdisciplinary team are great, but nurses and cna in this facility are terrible. No sense of co-operation or communication.
