What Casa De Manana has on record

Not listed doesn’t mean not offered. It means there’s no record, so ask.

Being on record means the state or Casa De Manana lists it. It doesn’t mean they’ve accepted your senior or have a room.

Cost Where this comes fromPrices and rooms come from the community’s own website, dated when we saw them. The typical range uses communities nearby that publish prices.

Rating & safety How to read thisThese are the state’s own categories. Type A: problems that, if not corrected, put residents’ health, safety or rights at direct and immediate risk. Type B: problems that could become a risk without correction, or record-keeping problems that affect care. Both must be corrected. Complaints the state didn’t confirm are shown but never counted against the community.

This retirement community has atleast 5 or 6 buildings of apartments, plus villas that sit across the street from the ocean. Its pricey but you dont have to give up your entire bank account. The dining room is centrally located in the main bldg. Housekeeping staff clean your rooms once a week and do your laundry, if requested.

Beautiful facility. Lackluster staff. Received a tour and it was very transactional, they didn’t ask who I was touring for or help me understand my options and situation so they could show me the appropriate room types. When I asked to speak with someone who was more knowledgeable, they never got back to me. Poor customer service considering how nice and pricey this place is.

I love living in this communal retirement community. I searched far and wide and can promise you, there is none better. The services: activities, and available wellness support is exceptional. The staff is fantastic, helpful and somehow can handle all the residents’ needs regardless if they are simple or extremely complicated. I moved here from my lovely La Jolla home when I chose to not live…

I have been to many different retirement communities in the county and this is by far the best. If you can afford it this is definitely the place to retire. The staff is always friendly and available to help 24/7 with any problem. The food is set up as a restaurant style with two different restaurant options including buffets where they make anything you may want and room service is available.…
