Not listed doesn’t mean not offered. It means there’s no record, so ask.

Being on record means the state or Bliss Homes lists it. It doesn’t mean they’ve accepted your senior or have a room.

What’s included, and common cost questions
  • What does the monthly price include? Usually rent, three meals, housekeeping and activities. Care is often priced separately by level of help.
  • Do prices go up? Most communities raise prices once a year. Ask how much the last increase was and how much notice they give.
  • Can Medi-Cal pay? Some assisted living communities take the Assisted Living Waiver. Ask Bliss Homes whether they do and if there’s a waiting list.

These are prices Bliss Homes published. They aren’t quotes.

Rating & safety How to read thisThese are the state’s own categories. Type A: problems that, if not corrected, put residents’ health, safety or rights at direct and immediate risk. Type B: problems that could become a risk without correction, or record-keeping problems that affect care. Both must be corrected. Complaints the state didn’t confirm are shown but never counted against the community.

Bliss Homes has turned out to be a wonderful asset. Mom’s care is now above and beyond the place she was previously at. The staff is patient and attentive to her care and we get frequent updates as to her well-being. It is also conveniently located off I 15 at Limonite Ave. The owners are also very involved with the patients care.

It was absolutely great to finally get my dad out of a hospital that did absolutely nothing for him. No physical therapy (as was promised), nor healthy meals. $9k a month for nothing. Then I was referred to Bliss. The highest quality care, home cooked meals, and receiving much needed therapy. My dad actually got to go outside, in a wheelchair, and get some sun on his face. The smile, that had…
