    This place initially seemed like a great fit for my mother. I later learned the staff was verbally abusive to patients (witnessed many times!), yelling at people with dementia. One woman (patient) in particular was so sweet & I was there when her daughter was touring the place. Sadly, I later saw the staff being verbally abusive to her mother.     My dad has been living there for 8 months. Ardent Care really takes great care of him. Secure, clean, happy spot for him to enjoy the food, activities, comraderie. The expert care and close attention is top notch. New place barely a year old, the building was redone to accommodate the elderly with issues of self-reliance. Patient, helpful, caring. It really doesn’t get any better than this…
